Feline parvovirus is a virus that can cause severe disease in cats, particularly kittens. 

Symptoms within 4-5 days, the cats becomes very sick and especially in young animals, the disease has a high mortality and rapid sequence and within a couple hours of symptoms, a young cat being dead. In some individuals are high fever, abdominal pain and lethargy symptoms and in some cases vomiting cat and get excessive diarrhea and the cat becomes dehydrated.

If a pregnant queen is infected with FPV, the brains of her unborn kittens may be damaged.

An infected cat spreading infection via feces and can be infected without showing symptoms, even though it will spread the disease and may be infected for several months.

Rapid tests where swab dipped / wound in the stool and then dipped in the fluid analysis and the analysis liquid is then dropped into a reader that shows the results within 5-10 minutes.
